NAME : Jean Susan Fraser

DIED : Thursday 3rd April 2008

AGE : 55

EMPLOYMENT : Personal Assistant

TOWN : Rainham, Essex

Jean leaves behind a loving husband in David, one Daughter Kerry,Son In Law Mark, Grandson Ryan, Sister Susan, Adrian and her Neice Hayley and Nephew Daniel, together with Mum and Dad Joan & Ron and many great friends

This has come as a complete shock to everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Jean sometime in their life time. Jean was diagnosed with Liver Cancer on the 1st February 2008, and despite undergoing two bouts of chemotherapy, Jean was admitted to The Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth on Saturday 29th March to undergo further tests. Sadly for everyone who knew Jean these results showed that infact the Cancer had now completely infected the liver and the family was told to take each day that Jean was alive as a blessing. Close family and friends rallied around as Jean was finally taken away from us, ever so peacefully on the 3rd April 2008 at 14.32.

Speaking from my own points of view I had the pleasure of knowing Jean for a total of 15 years, 10 of those years being that of her Son In Law, after marrying her only Daughter Kerry. As people will understand who knew Jean, she was a wonderful woman who was always immaculately dressed wherever she went, and not once in those 15 years of knowing Jean did she have a bad word for anyone.

I feel so grateful that Kerry and I were the chosen ones when little Ryan came into our lives in May 2007, and I know that Jean was the proudest Nanny in the world.

None of those Mother in Law jokes apply to Jean whatsoever, she was absolutely wonderful to me from the very first moment we met. I have wonderful memories of many times that we have spent together as a family and I will miss her greatly, but I know that Jean will be looking down on us making sure that everyone is ok, always putting others first. That was Jean x x x

On behalf of David, Kerry and the rest of Jean's close family I would like to thank everyone for their attendance at Jean's cremation on Monday 14th April 2008, and for the beautiful floral tributes that accompanied her

Miss You

A year already and it still seems so unreal. What can I write that hasn't already been written, everything we all do, everywhere we all go, there are memories of you, you were so much a part of all our lives, how can you replace someone that was unreplaceable, you can't so we all just carry on knowing that nothing will ever be the same again because your not here with us. Jacquie visit's the cemetery all the time and between her, David and Kerry you will never be without fresh flowers all the time. I don't know what else to say really other than I miss you so much.
